Sascha Funke has announced his first full-length album in nearly a decade, ‘Planes In Reverse,’ to be out via Kompakt. The 10-track release marks the Berlin-born producer’s first major LP since 2017’s ‘Lotos Land.’

The album was written over a span of two months last winter and features guest appearances from Julienne Dessagne of Fantastic Twins. Musically, the record spans techno, house, minimalism, and disco house.

Tracks incorporate field recordings and structured synthesizer arrangements, maintaining a measured tempo below 130 BPM. The production showcases the streamlined melodic approach Funke developed during the late 1990s minimal techno era.

A long-standing affiliate of the Cologne-based imprint, Funke also shared the lead single in advance.

‘Planes In Reverse’ arrives on November 6, 2026. Pre-order your copy here.
