Serato has launched Serato DJ for iOS, bringing its DJ software to iPhone and iPad for the first time. The application introduces a selection of the platform’s desktop features to mobile devices, with free and paid options available through the App Store.

The app includes stem separation, built-in effects, EQ controls, key sync, and cue points, alongside compatibility with streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music. Users can also record their DJ sets directly through the application.

Serato DJ for iOS supports more than 120 DJ hardware configurations, including controllers, mixers, turntables, and Digital Vinyl System (DVS) setups. Libraries from Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite 5.0 can be transferred wirelessly or through a cable connection, preserving cue points, beatgrids, and metadata.

The mobile launch accompanies the release of Serato DJ 5.0 for desktop. Both versions include Lucid Beatgrids, a feature designed to accommodate tracks with changing BPM timing.

While the application offers a free version, several advanced functions require a paid license. The supplied pricing lists a $149 license for unrestricted use or access through the full Serato suite at $14.99 per month.

Serato DJ for iOS is available through the App Store. More information about the software is available on the official Serato website.
