Brazilian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Caetano Malta is preparing to release his debut solo album, ‘Eterna Juventude’, on October 16th, 2026, through Favorite Recordings.
Born in São Paulo, Malta has spent more than two decades developing a musical approach rooted in Brazilian traditions, drawing from Tropicália, MPB, Afro-Brazilian rhythms, psychedelic folk, and contemporary pop.
Since 2004, he has collaborated with artists including Lucas Santtana, Bixiga 70, and Karina Buhr. Following years of international touring, he settled in Paris, where he has worked as a guitarist for Flavia Coelho, Luiza, and Guts. His songwriting collaborations also include Wado, MOMO, Rubinho Jacobina, and Arto Lindsay.
With ‘Eterna Juventude’, Malta brings his songwriting into focus through arrangements combining organic rhythms, layered harmonies, and melodic structures. The album explores themes of imagination, movement, and childhood, drawing on the musical influences that have shaped his career.
