Morcheeba have shared a new remix of ‘Molten’ by Brazilian electronic producer Gui Boratto, continuing their ‘Remix The Chaos’ series with the third installment, via 100% Records.
The rework follows UNKLE’s reconstruction of ‘Peace of Me’ featuring Oscar #Worldpeace.
Morcheeba commented on the collaboration, “Gui Boratto, the Brazilian Electro Producer, who collaborated with us a few years back, has returned to do a wonderfully phat remix of Molten.”
Discussing his approach, Gui Boratto added, “With ‘Molten’, I wanted the emotion to drive the dancefloor. Skye’s beautifully re-recorded vocals made it all the more special.”
The remix series revisits material from Morcheeba’s eleventh studio album, ‘Escape The Chaos’, released in May 2025. Its first two volumes included interpretations by Paula Tape, Trance Wax, Frazer Ray, Brothers Counsell, Rex The Dog, Django Django, Daedelus, and Merther Hum.
The third volume features contributions from UNKLE, Gui Boratto, Mophono, and Rhyw. The remaining installments are scheduled for November 23rd and January 8th, respectively, with a 12-inch vinyl edition planned for January 8th, including a limited swamp-green pressing and white-label copies.
