Argentine DJ and producer Axel Bray, also known as Prototype (AR), returns to Stripped Digital with ‘X O X O | Ultraviolence.’  The EP features two original tracks and marks his latest contribution to the British imprint.

The release follows March’s ‘Glaciers,’ a progressive breaks single that revealed a more personal side of Bray’s work. In a conversation with Electronic Groove earlier this year, the producer described his fascination with the genre and the feelings of distance that inspired the track. With ‘X O X O’ and ‘Ultraviolence,’ he shifts his attention back toward progressive house, a style that has remained central to his catalog.

Bray’s recent activity reflects his growing presence across several labels. In 2025, he released ‘Headstream’ and ‘Terraformation’ through Electronic Groove Records, while collaborating with Greta Meier and Poli Siufi on ‘Futurewise’ for Stripped Recordings. His work in 2026 also includes remixes of Thaddeus X’s ‘My Life’ and ‘Pets,’ released through Akbal Music Editions and Last Cat On Earth, respectively.

Mastered by Rob Small in Leeds, England, ‘X O X O | Ultraviolence’ continues Bray’s association with the Stripped label family, established by Norman H in 2005.

Prototype (AR)‘s ‘X O X O | Ultraviolence’ is out. Listen below and download  here.
