Sónar has announced the first 30 artists for its 2027 edition, taking place from June 17th to 19th in Barcelona. Presented as a ‘reborn’ edition, the festival will introduce a new location for Sónar by Day, returning its daytime programme to the city’s central waterfront.
The first wave includes live performances from Bonobo, Tokischa, Yung Lean, Frost Children, Jessie Ware, and Cornelius. The DJ programme features Carl Cox, Peggy Gou, KI/KI, Romy, Oscar Mulero, and Honey Dijon presenting Sinister.
Additional confirmations include Collabs3000, the collaboration between Chris Liebing and Speedy J, alongside Job Jobse, Aurora Halal, Goldie, Donato Dozzy b2b Batu, and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith.
The 2027 edition marks a change in the festival’s daytime format. Sónar by Day will relocate to central Barcelona, bringing its music programme together with Sónar+D, the festival’s platform exploring the relationship between creativity, technology, and research.
Meanwhile, Sónar by Night will return to Fira Gran Via on June 18th and 19th, with four stages: SonarClub, SonarPub, SonarLab, and SonarCar.
Among the live highlights, Bonobo will present a new production built around ‘Distance in Static’, with stage design by Pierre Claude. Tokischa will make her festival debut, while Cornelius will present ‘Refractions’.
The club programme will also feature Funk Assault, Busy P b2b Girl Ultra, Ehua and Flore, DJ SALOME, Tash LC, Opal Sunn, Yu Su, ONA, Suut, TK MAMI, Kristina, Disobey Sound System, and Drizzyclare.
Beyond the main festival, Sónar Week will expand across Barcelona with Sónar District at Parc del Fòrum, Sónar Kids, and OFFSónar at Poble Espanyol.
SonarPass and SonarPass+D tickets are now available at special launch prices, with standard and VIP options. The latter also includes access to Sónar+D.
